Here is our large Koru Tree, standing at 80cm tall and cut from bamboo ply, this trees branches angle upwards and has a small Piwakawaka perched in one of its branches.

Here is our small koru tree we had made today. Cut using high pressure water from bamboo ply these trees are inspired by Gordon Walters and stand 60cm tall. We have only 3 in stock and they make great table top xmas trees, nz style.
this catches me up for the third installment. Typophiles will recognise this, adapted from Lubalin’s Upper and Lowercase logotype. No purpose for this, just had the idea one day while admiring the U&lc letter forms.

I have set a challenge for myself for the month of december and that is to create a piece of something everyday this month. it could be some art, a sketch, a screen print… anything really but it has to be everyday… maybe it will help a creative slump or maybe it’s just a good way to get out all these ideas that swim around and take up valuable head space.
Here is the first one that was meant for yesterday. i don’t know what it is called or what it’s about but never mind, i’ve done it now.
