inhouse t-shirts

when i was growing up the fernhill tavern was pretty notorious for the locals punching out anyone who was not a local. the pub is now a backpackers and still full of charm.

Tane was looking for something for Chris from our favourite local spot Pipi. We came up with this little doozie.

Rio is one of the baddest bass players in the country and now after trinity roots the brother has gone on to work on his solo album and has an EP and 12″ called Wahine Toa. Shit is dope with solid production from FFD’s DJ Fitchie. now out on vinyl at conch. Rio is on the road playing bass with Bic Runga, Tim Finn and old D. Dobbyn.

Boh Runga is on the road at the moment with Greg Johnson, making their way south via Napier and then Palmy before heading to Welly and then the southern isle all the way to inver vegas. Life on the road must be interesting with an all male band, cut loose from their usual family responsibilities and on the road, living the old rock and roll lifestyle… ahh, good times.

Boh’s father is from Mahia way and so coming to Napier is getting pretty close to Rongomaiwahine and her turangawaewae.

coxey

Coxy popped into town for a building convention and stubbled accross our store. He had a few Cray Bay stories of his own and was keen to get hooked up. I found out that in his spare time he’s either surfing or fishing. Nice!

The good people over at opera kitchen asked me to design and print them a t-shirt for their staff. We decided to go for a fruity theme with different coloured tees and a design that will work in three colours or just one. Here is the result.

I have been meaning to add some of these images for a while now. These are a few pics of some of the beautiful people that have purchased one of our customised organic tees.

If you are the proud owner of one of our tees please send a pic of you with it on and we would love to put it up on our site.

Instead of us picking the colour and size and printing a whole lot we are now offering an instore printing service. You pick your design, couloured tee and colour for the print and we print it up on the spot. It’s all non toxic water based printing and takes 5 minutes. We are working on the drive through… For a limited time. The print above is Aunty Pania in teal.
