Made With Aroha
A Little Bit About Who We Are
Made with Aroha is the eco-friendly screen printing arm of House of Aroha based in Napier, New Zealand and was established by Rakai Karaitiana in 2008. House of Aroha is a family business with a retail outlet specialising in fashion, art, design and music.
A Little Bit About What We Do
As well as producing artworks and design in-house we like to collaborate with artists from New Zealand and abroad to create limited edition T-shirts and art prints which we sell instore and online.
We use only eco-friendly water based inks and do our best to minimise the use of toxic chemicals throughout the printing process, we use water based adhesives, and have been experimenting with citrus based removers for cleaning and dehazing screens.
We offer customised printing services within our retail outlet producing printed T-shirts and art prints. We work with organisations large and small providing services from concept to finished product.
What We Print On
We Source T-shirts made from organic cotton and bamboo, as well as standard cotton tees made from high quality ringspun cotton. Some of the organic and bamboo garments need to be imported from overseas and prices are constantly changing. Call us to discuss your order and find the current pricing options.

Hi there,
I was just reading your Made With Aroha section and you mention collaborating and using some designs where appropriate?
I was just wondering if you would be interested at in in working with the design I’ve linked to in the web address? It’s hand drawn and then digitised, but this copy is just a photo so not as sharp as a scanned version which I could easily arrange.. It’s also my own work.
Thanks for your time regardless and I love your site
Thanks,
Jason
