when i was growing up the fernhill tavern was pretty notorious for the locals punching out anyone who was not a local. the pub is now a backpackers and still full of charm.

New print for today based on my love for a style of music i like to call Aotearoa Roots. We have a bit of a tradition with roots music, from the Herbs, Unity Pacific, Twelve Tribes, Che Fu, Katchafire, FFD, Sal’ Dub, Black Seeds, Kora… the list goes on and on. It’s part of who we are and it’s as strong as ever.

Here is a new print. This store has been around for a really long time, i think since the 50′s. It is probably the longest standing shop front in Napier. It’s now up for sale along with a bit of land next to it and soon will be bowled and replaced by some fancy new development.
